Johnston Ridge Trailhead to Sespe Hot Springs is a 15.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Ojai, California that features hot springs and is rated as difficult. Nestled in the Los Padres National Forest, the secluded Sespe Hot Springs provides a wonderful reward after a long hike; depending on which trail you take to the natural hot springs, the trek spans between 7.5 and 17 miles one-way. I have hiked the bottom 4.3 miles of this trail only, between the Dry Lakes Ridge Trail and Hwy 33.
